Does left handedness run in families

Am curious if there are any other families whole families left handed.Parents typically begin to notice hand dominance when babies first reach for and grasp objects.Environmental factors also play a role.This implies that the genes do have some influence, but are not the whole story.My mom was a lefty, but was made to switch early on.

Family of lefties so me my husband and our 2 sons are all left handed, as are my 5 of my closest friends and 3 of my friends children.
